The worst part of happy hour is right there in the name. It’s usually only an hour (maybe two). Who wants a happy hour when you could have a happy day? At Caesars Palace Las Vegas, guests can currently do 12 straight hours of happiness.

The genius here is that Caesars is combining its vast resources to create this elongated happy hour express. It’s like a pub crawl of happy hours involving six of the best restaurants and bars in the hotel. That means a variety of food and drink options, plus new friends and environments at each stop. Here’s how to do it like a champ.

Alto Bar

12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

The largest bar in Caesars Palace is in an open space and perfect for people watching. If you’d rather make things a little more private, there are booths which have personal televisions in them. The main area features eight HD televisions and 18 video poker machines. During happy hour there are specials on draft and bottled beers. The real steal is with the crafted cocktails – anything $18 or less is two-for-one during this time. Enjoy a classic, spicy Bloody Mary featuring Tito’s Handmade vodka, house-made Bloody Mary mix and hand-stuffed blue cheese olives while your mate gets tropical with a Black Barrel Mojito which contains Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, mint, fresh-squeezed lime sour and is topped with soda. There are 10 cocktails to choose from.

Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill

2 p.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

If anybody should be able to do happy hour right, it’s a classic pub. Known as the “Hell’s Kitchen Happy Hour,” the folks at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill offer a large amount of drink specials including 35 oz. Bulldog style beers for $16 and draft beers starting at $9. Whatever you get to drink, make sure to take advantage of the awesome happy hour food menu which features some of Ramsay’s best bar bites on the cheap. Five dollars will get you a choice of warm salty pretzels, Pub Spot (Ramsay’s take on sliders), crispy onion rings or truffle fries. For $7, you can grab a half order of chile-beer glazed Hellfire wings, mini corn dogs or the epic kettle chip nachos – crispy potato chips topped with corn beef, sour cream, short rib and English cheddar cheese sauce. It’s a big a bang of flavor for your buck.

Rao’s

5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – (Sunday – Thursday)

Happy Hour at Rao’s is plentiful.
Bonus factoid: Rao’s is pronounced “ray-oze.”

The swank, old school setting of Rao’s is perfect for a glass of red or white wine, which won’t cost you more than $10. Beer specials run for $6. Specialty drinks which include mango mimosas, apple mojitos, and the All in the Family – Absolut Citron Vodka, Lemoncello, fresh lemon and club soda – can be had for $12. And a pitcher of The New Yorker, which contains Skyy Infusion Moscato Grape Vodka, St-Germain Liqueur, fresh basil and lemon, will run your group $35.

Share some excellent bar bites including a killer fig, prosciutto & buratta salad ($10), a classic fried ravioli plate ($9) and Rao’s traditional meatball sandwich ($15) and you’ll be singing “That’s Amore” in no time.

Take in a stunning view above the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis and enjoy half price drinks and MR CHOW bites. The cocktail menu showcases tasty beverages such as The Tribeca, a refreshing glass full of fresh peach and pineapple, all topped with Moet and Chandon champagne. There’s also the Pineapple 100 with Ciroc Pineapple Vodka, Grand Marnier 10, pineapple juice and fresh lemon. These are just two of the nine choices you can imbibe as you raise your glass to happiness.

MR CHOW bites start at $5 and feature some of the restaurant’s greatest hits: mini chicken satay, prawn toast, glazed prawns with walnuts, minced beef pancakes, shrimp rolls and mini MR CHOW spare ribs are all on the menu. This is a happy hour full of treasures.

Montecristo Cigar Bar

7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Are you ready to step into the man cave? This stunning cigar bar is actually a pleasure for members of both sexes, a one-of-a-kind environment with 100 seats and four clearly different areas – the Signature Bar, The Library, The Courtyard and The Vault Room. Wherever you choose to sit, you can expect a comfy seat, perfect for puffing on a fine cigar and watching whatever big game is on any number of the television screens. During happy hour, indulge in 2-for-1 specials on cocktails including the Ginger Julep and Liquid Silk Martini. The bar, which is known for its fine whiskey collection, also goes 2-for-1 on a selection of these stunning spirits.

At this superb steakhouse, it’s late night martinis and late night small bites that will have diners’ taste buds dancing well after the sun goes down. Sip on classic cocktails like a Vodka Martini featuring Grey Goose vodka and blue cheese olives or a strong Old Homestead Manhattan with Buffalo Trace Whiskey, Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth and Fee’s Brothers Black Walnut Bitters. Six different drinks are offered at the bar for $12 including an Apple or Pomelo Martini. And guests who sidle up to the restaurant between 9 pm – 11 pm can also enjoy small bites from the 7,7,7 menu. For just $7, chow down on scrumptious calamari, an old school crab cocktail or fresh Ahi tuna tartare.
